Crusted Trout

I recently dined at Due South and was thoroughly impressed by the warm welcome and inviting atmosphere. The Bartender that was also our waiter was awesome( name has slipped my mind), his delight and passion to serve us was refreshing and he delivered the specials and complimented the menu with a authentic passion that was contagious, he made us want to try it all. I opted for the crusted trout, and it was a delightful symphony of flavors and textures. The trout itself was delicately fresh and buttery, perfectly complemented by a bed of mushroom risotto that was creamy and rich. Each bite was a harmonious blend of earthy mushrooms and tender fish, creating a dish that was both comforting and indulgent. But the standout for me was the turkey collard greens. Often overlooked as a side dish, here they were elevated to a star attraction. Full of flavor and expertly prepared, the collard greens were a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail. Overall, my dining experience at Due South was exceptional. From the impeccable service to the thoughtfully crafted dishes, it's clear that this establishment takes pride in delivering a memorable culinary journey. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu offerings.

The Big South

Biggest burger i could fit in my mouth and probably the most delicious! Cooked to order-perfectly- and tasted better than any restaurant burger i could remember! I'll be back for more! Oh, and I'll finish it off with some dessert next time! I couldnt find room for it this trip (but everyone at my table made amazing yummy noises with theirs)!

Crusted Trout

The freshness of the trout coupled with the lovely crunch of the panko cornmeal crust is amazing. Then add the lemon butter sauce w/the sun dried tomatoes - that was the perfect pairing for the trout. Three in our party ordered this, and all three plates were completely cleaned by the end of dinner! Definitely recommend this dish..and come hungry..the portions are large!

Deviled Eggs with Bacon

Oh my goodness, are these delicious!?! They remind me of summer picnics but with an upscale twist. Yummy!

Crusted Trout

This was our first experience at Due South, but it will not be the last. We ordered the dish as take-out. The trout was moist and very flavorful. The collard greens were very tender and perfectly seasoned. The mushroom risotto was very delicious. The sundried tomatoes were a special touch and are one of our favorite flavors. This was such a great dish, and it travels well. I ate the dish 2 hours after leaving the restaurant and it was awesome even after reheating. We cannot wait to try other items from the menu.

Shrimp & Grits

Incredible, I am a Self Proclaimed Conosur of Shrimp and Grits. If I'm at a restaurant that offers them I order them. Sometimes I won't order again, sometimes I'll send back..... I'm upset with Due South Seafood Kitchen, as their Shrimp and Grits was INCREDIBLE!!!! And Will be ordering Every time I go!! Upset as I may never have the opportunity to try anything else on their menu. My wife had the Romain Wedge with a side of Salmon and we also had the Crab/Shrimp/Clam Cheese Dip that received A+++ Cudos from us as well. Lending to a truth that the rest of Due South Seafood Kitchen's menu would be equally fantastic!! And to round out our most enjoyable and savory evening there was the Exceptional Service by our Server Wanda

Fried Green Tomatoes

If you want to impress your friends, order some of these for your table. The fried green tomatoes themselves are the best you can get anywhere south of Atlanta, and when they add the goat cheese and the pesto drizzle, they've made a dish so delicious your party might fight over who gets to lick the plate!

Cauliflower Plate

This is my absolute go to. As a vegetarian, I am in my glory with this meal. I also get a side of the mushroom zucchini risotto and i have lunch for the next day as well.
